What we will not do
Firewood prices are quoted by phone, per delivery, adjusted for distance and species. There is no price list to scrape, so we do not publish a firewood price comparison and neither should anyone else.
For pellets there is real data, but it is regional. Several of the largest national retailers do not publish readable prices at all. What we have is a regional index for the Northeast and Great Lakes, and that is exactly how it is labelled.
Where we have no verified supplier for a city, the page says so. It does not invent one to fill the space.
